Oven Cleaning, General Inspection and Condition Report

Our engineers provide a concentrated clean of the oven, removing debris that presents a fire risk and impacts on output of the machine. Whilst undertaking the cleaning process we also do a visual oven inspection of both the oven chamber and the external oven walls and roof.

The internal inspection will highlight any findings that can pose an imminent risk of oven failure and identify those that present a medium risk, which can be rectified before a failure occurs, with remedial works and a planned shutdown.

A thermographic test is conducted on the external oven to determine the oven’s thermal barrier condition. During this process the seals on all doors and inspection points on the outer walls and roof are also checked for heat loss.

‘Heat escape from the thermal barrier creates a vast rise in operational

costs and effects the quality of the product, and importantly, there is a

health and safety risk for the operative’s working in the environment. ‘

Following the clean and inspection a comprehensive report is produced, which outlines in the professional opinion of the author, the best course of remedial action. The main aim is to prolong machine life, together with maximising throughput in the most cost-effective manner.
